Shoulder Blade Pain: Ultimate Sleeping Positions Guide UPDATED 2024

Shoulder Blade Pain: Ultimate Sleeping Positions Guide UPDATED 2024
Yes! I have si joint dysfunction. Psoas dysfunction due to it. I have very tight and painful hip flexors. I can feel it in the si jojnt area. Ql. By asic/groin. In the thigh. Glute. TFL. I'll get nerve going down side of leg to the foot and it's related to my glute med/min and TFL. So doing abductor work, clamshell to address weak glutes to help si joint dysfunction actually makes the med/min and TFL tighter. I have to get the hip flexors to release and be stronger and then work the glutes or find exercises that work the glutes in isolation. Bridging I can do. But moving my leg past midline, external rotation, abbduction is very problematic. and that same hurt side is more internally rotated while the non hurt side is externally rotated.
Backing the neck up as double chin and stretching my neck on the side in addition to pulling my arms into each other to squeeze my shoulder blades together this whole combo is helping a lot! I am doing all of these stretches about 3 times a day and it's slowly improving. I'm on Day 3 now.
I have this, it pops from time to time but never stays long.
2:03 you can perfectly see the outline of his penis😅hes not wearing underwear!! nice view
I don’t really have much pain in my knee, but I have some swelling below my knee on the medial side of my ti just below the knee. When I go into any type of deep lunge with my close to my butt, I get a lot of crepitus when I come out of that lunge. Any ideas what could be going on or other videos to watch?
Hi there. Honestly it would be hard to tell without doing an assessment. Crepitus can be from excessive work over time due to injury to the knee, around the knee, surrounding areas like ankle or hip or even poor build up of sport activity. There are too many variables and I wouldn’t speculate without having more information. Set up a Consultation so we can talk directly
I love this
Thabks
Just did this and it did make me feel better thank you 🙏🏻
I thought for a herniated disc doing child's pose is bad?
Depends on the stage, type and tolerance of the segments. An assessment is required to know what is best for you
@@Performance-Place-chiropractor thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately, there's other credible health care workers with other strong opinions. I read this "Herniated Disc: A Survival Guide: Everything you need to know to manage your lumbar disc herniation without surgery" twice and they religiously say to stay away from any forward bending. What am I supposed to do in a situation where I'm getting conflicting advice?
Ya I’m sorry that’s happening. Everything is always dependent on the person, pathology, past injuries etc. it’s a misconception that all people need the exact same thing. To know what is best for you you’ll need a detailed physical assessment with someone who knows how to tailor a program of care based on what they fine. Email us and maybe we know someone in your area
PLEASE REPLY I have a l4,l5 disc herniation which is in contact with my left sciatica and i have shooting pain going down the leg ALL the time. I only get relief when i lay down in a specific position otherwise i have pain while standing up. Walking is difficult and very painful. I can't even wash my face. Orthopaedics have Scheduled me for an open spinal surgery. I am not happy with surgery and i want to have it as the very last option. Can a Chiropractor be of any help will it help in getting back to life ?? Please suggest
Hello. I see you reached out in a different video and I answered your question more specifically there. Happy healing.

Hey there, thanks for reaching out. We cannot give specific medical advice without seeing you, but I think that you may get some more education about what you could be doing with rehabilitation. If you watch the free webinar we have attached this video in the link in the description. We have seen many people with many different types of back pains And have had great success helping people avoid surgery. The fact of the matter is that some people may require surgery in some situation. We don’t know your case good enough to give you advice, but if you reach out to us, we can learn more and potentially help. All of our contact is in the link for the description on the video. Happy healing.
Can groin pain hurt your private areas as well because I pulled mine not long ago and sometimes I kind of feel like towards my area and I wanted to know if that has to do with it as well ?? 😕
Maybe. These are good questions you need to ask your medical professional after an exam so they can answer them for certain for you.
He have exercises to help? I don’t live in Costa Mesa
We may. We would need to assess you virtually first
Wow... this is the first time I've every found something that fixes my rhomboid pain! Thank you!
Great to hear!
Had an anterior hip replacement 6 weeks ago and was wondering if you can share safe exercises to do if you had a tFL muscle injury after surgery. If you have some swelling and hard rubbery band on TFL is it okay to use foam roller on IT band?
Hey Nick. I’m sorry but that’s not something I can help with. I’m sure your surgery team has recommended things you should be focusing on. Many people also use a PT specializing in post op care in the early stages of their recovery. Wish I could help but you’ll need to talk to your team.
Had a reverse shoulder replacement and woke up with ulnar nerve entrapment..any exercises that would not be appropriate for an reverse shoulder replacement?
Hey there. I’m not sure we would be the experts on that topic. Best of luck!
I spent years researching different stretches for my back thinking that was causing my sciatica turns out it was my hip for this exact reason
Glad you found some answers!
Hi, I have pinching in the groin to one side. MRI didn't show anything wrong with my hip but pinching doesn't go away for more than 6 months. It is always worse when I put wait on that leg while bending forward or can start pinching while I am walking. Also I cannot go up the stairs or jump. Any advice, please. Many thanks upfront.
Hey there, thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your discomfort. I would suggest taking a look at the free webinar that we have as it covers a lot of the different aspects that you asked questions about. It’s very common to have negative imaging yet still have problems. if you’d like, please reach out to us via email but the free webinar is a great place to start. Happy healing.
Thank you, what is the name of the song & music goes well with the exercise.
Hello there. Sorry I have no idea what song it is.
could it be both impingement and strain ????
Could be. Anything is possible and everybody’s case is a little bit different. It’s really important to get assessed to figure out if you have a different variation of growing pain. Without knowing all the specifics, the results may vary. If you’d like our help, please reach out via the link in the description of the video. We’d be happy to help.
😂
Ha
I’d say start with this, but then work more to loosen the deep hip external rotators so the femur is more centered in the joint (vs forward). Frequently the forward positioning of the femur causes impingement with hip flexion and makes the hip flexors sore and seem very tight/stiff.
I wouldn’t disagree. It’s all situation based. What one person needs other won’t. Some even require more core support to allow for better hip centration. All case dependent
*I have a bump of swelling in that reason n I guess I was doing these exercises for lower back stretching, now m not gonna do those, now I request u pls same like this, I have pain in penis n testicles, I feel strech in pelvic reason when I do situps or leg raises, maybe those are causing that, can u pls shower some knowledge* huge regards to u guyz 🙏🏼
Glad you liked the video. We would need to do an assessment in person to be able to give good advice. There are too many possibilities of what is going on. I’d rather not speculate. Let’s just assess it. Reach out for a consultation 714-502-4243 info@p2sportscare.com

I had an Avulsion fracture of my TFL a year ago. I've been doing my rehab every since only to have another tear back in feb of this year. I've finally got back to the level where i can do plyometrics and only csn run 3 × 10 mins on a flat but as soon as i get to a downhill its painfull in the TFL area. Help...I'm losing all hope
Thank you for this video. Perfect timing. I had a hard fall on one knee 2 weeks ago. I now have extreme hip pain if i move a certain way. With your visuals i can see how it's all connected and why i have radiating pain in all these areas. 😔
Glad it helped! Yes everything is connected in the body
I don’t get It.
We have more videos on this topic on our channel
Thanks
No problem
I had this and definitely eventually found that walking more was key to getting better. Shopping was most painful while standing up which was weird but I think it's due to stopping every few yards. Just something about that motion.
It is the start and stop that tends to get people. The spine has to over come the force of inertia each time we start and stop. In a spine that does not have any active problem it is not an issue and once people can settle the problem down it is no longer an issue. Good comment
@@Performance-Place-chiropractor yes that's what I feel. My lower back has to kind of grab hold of me, especially if someone jumps out in front of you
Glad it feel better!
@@Performance-Place-chiropractor Ah thanks!!!
Yep
Thank U ❤
You're welcome 😊

Thanks!
So nice exercise
Thanks
My pain is slightly inward like maybe a inch..and my IT band is always tight with a heat sensation
Yikes. Sorry to hear that.
“My hip is bone on bone” so many say this but it could just be impingement, and releasable from tight muscles?
Finding if the range of motion will come back comes down to matching physical examination findings with imaging. There are few reasons for loss of range and strength so we would have to see once we take a look at you
Thanks for the information. God bless!
Our pleasure!
👍
Thanks
This worked remarkably fast after weeks of pain- thank you so much!
Very welcome. Please share this with a friend in need!

I have a herniated disc L5 for three and a half weeks now. My back doesn't hurt at all but my calf (outside) of my left leg hurts like crazy. I can't even walk 100 mtr without having terrible pain. Doctor said I have to wait it out because in 90% of the cases it'll heal naturally after about 6 to 12 weeks. Are there any exercises specifically for sciatic pain in the calf?
Where are a lot of things that can be done for pain management but they are all case dependent. We have a great podcast coming out next week on the Restoring Human Movement Podcast regarding Sciatica and various types. We would need to do an assessment to figure out the best course of action. In the podcast an expert covers timelines and expectations. Please contact us if you’d like one on one help. Contact in description for video
Do you have any programs on how to go about rehabbing this injury?
@Jah_gg We do on our website (link in description) and we have even better custom ones we design when we see people one on one. We have lots of videos on RUclips about it as well but to be honest, the exercises and stretches we show are PARTS of the program we put together but as always, everything should be tailered to your body, your condition/ severity and much more. While we show what we use the same intensity of exercise would not be used for a teenager verse a 50 year old.. and sports/ activity preference matters. I’d suggest setting up a Discovery Session to help figure out what one is right for you. Currently it’s $29 for 30 mins to talk about what your options are with an expert
Thank you for this video. I've had side pain for about a month and couldn't figure it out and thought it might be digestive related. I realized I had done some exercises on my stomach and had been extending and had some pain and this video explains what happened.
@Tchanson Wonderful. Glad you got good information! Normally it is related to a change of physical activity some how. A new sport, new habit, new diet, etc. We have a great podcast on Restoring Human Movement that may help. Episode 97 Please reach out via email if you have any questions or need some help. Info@p2sportscare.com
Very useful video🙏🏼 do you think its possible to have both sports hernia and a groin strain at the same time ( i do martial arts tricking which involves a lot of kicking fliping and twisting your body very explosively) I took two weeks off with doing some of the normal recommended exercises for a groin strain, but every time I think I healed up and start training, after two sessions the pain comes back. How do I fix that? Would very much appreciate any advice
@Ottzeltricking Anything is possible. In order to figure out how to solve it we would need more information and examination to see what is affecting what. An examination helps us figure out how to solve it and see if there is a tear or strain, is there compensation or not, is the muscle imbalances or not, etc.... we can help you and we have seen many people with a similar situation because we have so many RUclips videos on it but each person's suggestions are unique. Alternately you would probably get some great information (too long for RUclips) on our free webinar - link in description or one of our podcasts Restoring Human Movement on your podcast player. We released a bunch of new updated info on sports hernias and how the hip/ groin is related. Episode 279 "Which factors differentiate athletes with hip or groin pain from those without" is a good one to start on. Lastly we have a new RUclips video I spent a long of time on to help those understand more about the relationship of the lower abs, adductor, hip and more with groin/ lower ab pain. ruclips.net/video/kI9SQgh_7Fg/видео.html Please emails us so we can get you set up with a Discovery Session if you want our direct help.
